Week 8 of the 2026 fantasy football season saw several standout performances, particularly from the Cincinnati Bengals. Joe Burrow led the way, scoring a season-high 39.48 points in the overtime win over the Tennessee Titans. He threw for 462 yards and five touchdowns, and also rushed for 10 yards and another score. Tee Higgins also had a season-best day, catching 11 of 12 targets for 155 yards and two touchdowns, scoring 37.5 points. Ja'Marr Chase's 31.1 points were his highest total of the season, and he continues to be a top option for fantasy teams. Bhayshul Tuten and Brock Bowers also had impressive performances, with Tuten scoring a season-high 29.9 points against the Colts' defense. He rushed for 104 yards and a touchdown on 16 carries, and also had two receptions for 55 yards and another score. Bowers' 28.2 points were also a season best, and he has now scored 123.7 fantasy points for the season, the fifth most by any tight end through his first six games. Other notable performances included D'Andre Swift's 36.1 fantasy points, which came despite a slow start, and his reestablishment as the Cardinals' best-suited running back to serve as Jeremiyah Love's primary backup. Zamir White's 26.8 points were a season best, and he will be a key player to watch in the coming weeks. In contrast, several players struggled in Week 8, including Bijan Robinson, Ashton Jeanty, and Jonathan Taylor. Robinson scored just 7.6 points, while Jeanty was benched in favor of Mike Washington Jr. in the Raiders' Week 8 game. Taylor's 6.7 fantasy points were his fewest in any of his prior 28 non-Week 18 games, and he may be on the trade block ahead of the Nov. 10 deadline. Overall, Week 8 was a mixed bag for fantasy football players, with some standout performances and others struggling to make an impact. As the season continues, it will be interesting to see how these players perform in the coming weeks.
